I may have mentioned this before – but the other day I told a friend of mine that I want share ideas with him regarding consciousness, and my thoughts now expanded as a result of some deep thinking after a significant “aha” moment, as to what it means to be Self-Conscious.
As we know – consciousness comes in many forms. We can be conscious of a tree, a view. We can be conscious of the leaves rustling in the tree, and the view changing as clouds move, or a thunderstorm builds on the horizon. This is the basic human expression of physical perception (consciousness). Being conscious of something, means that we can perceive through our senses, as they respond to environmental stimuli.
We can feel emotions, which is different from feeling a physical object. We can also sense energy – which is different from sensing movement. So, we can safely postulate that consciousness comes in many expressions, from intuitive feelings (sense), physical observations (sight), which can be static, and then morph into conscious emotional expression – as we watch the beauty of leaves moving in the breeze or pick up on the thoughts of another. All of these are an expression of our conscious responses to our physical and non-physical environment.
The problem with consciousness is that very little of what we experience or do is actually a conscious response. Usually – our consciousness acts on the impulses and prompts of the unconscious. Most of us are not even aware that 95% of our responses are unconscious, as we act on autopilot. As a matter of fact – science, up to the present, have only identified 40 conscious actions, which means our conscious response system consists of a measly little 40-bit processor.
Most of us do not know that our response programming happens between ages zero to six. Human developmental theorists - the most notable of them Erikson and Paiget, have long told us about the ill effects of acting unconsciously towards or around our children, and even others in our environment. The spoken word, or action, without Self-Conscious consideration, can mostly do more harm than good.
The human development phase of “programming” between ages zero and six is essentially spent in a semi-conscious state of hypnosis – also called hypnagogic trance - essentially the same neural state that hypnotists use to download new behaviors into the subconscious mind of clients as part of behavior altering therapy.
“Give me a child until he is seven years old and I will give you the man” is an old Jesuit statement that ultimately tells us that the individual personality is “constructed” during the formative years of children. In essence – the child in the product of conditioning, as the child-mind acts like a sponge that absorbs everything it experiences during these formative years as “truth”.
What is worse – we, the adult caregivers act like self-proclaimed Pavlovians and feed our children and those young ones in our care exactly the same information that has produced us. And so the scourge of genetic mind-state manipulation (transference) continues into the next generation and beyond – simply because we remain unconscious as to the dysfunctions created by our initial programming.
My point is the following: Even in a state of hypnagogic trance – the child is in a state of hypnotic Self-Consciousness. This opens a can of worms for educators and care givers – as what I am trying to impart is that this state of awareness – or Delta/Theta brain state – is when the conscious-unconscious interaction is at it’s most alert level than at any time of our lives.
After this phase of development – we go into autopilot mode. In a sense – the unconscious still does not exist in the Delta brain state. In the Theta brain state – it becomes aware. In the Alpha brain state – it takes over, after programming is complete.
As caregivers – be it in the parenting role, therapist role, teacher role, or even the boss, which is also archetypical role-playing – we need to become more Self-Conscious. Our thoughts must change from being merely reactionary, to impeccable Self-Conscious consideration in all we do and speak.
We are creating the next generation – or affirming the current dysfunctional one, through our actions towards one-another. Let us have a change of heart – reformulate our concept of duty and will, and act Self-Consciously.
Now is the time to embrace the new reality of Metatronic consciousness - the age of impeccability is upon us. This new science of Trans-personal Psychology, combined with the new energy flooding the earth, will persist. It is the new stage of our spiritual evolution.
We can either embrace it - and cause our own resurrection, or we can roll along in utter ignorance and wither away. It is our choice.
Much Love and Light
