Spiritual Incumbency

Incumbency is defined in the English dictionary as a duty or obligation. However, if we look closely at the word and the meaning as pertinent in this discussion, the word as derived from Latin, presents the principle of “incumbre, to lean upon, or apply oneself to”.

A very good friend told me the other day, “it is incumbent on others to perform, in order for us to perform”. This may be true in business, as we provide a service for which there has to be an energy exchange, which will enable us to perform another energy exchange, in the form of money or obligations owed to someone else. We can all wholeheartedly agree with this statement, but what about the subtle meaning which lies buried here?

It is very easy for us to ascribe responsibility to others, instead of ourselves. “Oh, we cannot do this, for so and so have not done that”. So, we relinquish our own right of choice and therefore disenfranchise ourselves. Disenfranchising the Self is akin to personal sabotage. Again, mostly, this is the subtle ego-intrusion, or subconscious exerting itself as our “protector”, or regulator of our inner world and desired aversions. We do not feel like doing something, therefore we avoid it.

Spiritual emergence places incumbency on the Self to explore and find the hidden treasures that resides in our Inner Self. The Inner Self cannot be explored, if there is not coherence in the interactions of all the subtle bodies, which makes up the human psyche. We always have good intentions, we buy a book on spirituality, and we start reading it, simply to put it aside for another day. Then we buy another one, read a few pages, and put that aside as well.

This is the encultured ego / intellect at work. The intellect has its own agenda that is reflected in many of the older eastern religions. Most of the techniques in these religions, like meditation and yoga, were based on the idea of getting the intellect out of the way so the Higher Self or Soul could speak to us from its perspective. The belief is that the intellect is a tyrant that wants to be in control at all times.

It is terrified that the other parts of you are getting to close to the truth, and therefore is very busy trying to present its case so that no one else gets to give control to anyone but the intellect / ego. The Higher Self is very patient and shy so in this contest the intellect and its “crisis” energy seems to win the contest until we pacify it and quieten it down, for it is incessantly chattering, which the Sufis refer to as the ten thousand babbling idiots.

Often when we decide to become spiritual, or embrace the journey, the intellect wants to run that search also explaining that it is the only part that really cares about our learning. The intellect immediately then starts a process called "seek but do not find". So you put down the books you have bought, as the ego / intellect does not recognize “truth in spirituality” since it uses logic and not a “heart feeling” to analyze the information.

It is incumbent on us to pacify the intellect / ego into submission, in order for it to align to our purpose. Allowing it free reign to determine our life path, instead of the Authentic Self, limits us in our search for true spirituality.

We must submit to the quiet prompts of the Higher Self, as it wishes to exert itself in our lives. That is after all our purpose, to grow into an awareness of that which we truly are, the inner power that resides within, and our closeness to Source.

Quieten down the ten thousand babbling idiots. And start listening to the Soul. Only then will we reclaim our true heritage as children of the Universe. We are all made of the same stuff, therefore we have the potential of being The Same Stuff!

Let us reclaim our Power over the lower mind impulses. It is incumbent upon us, as the ultimate spiritual imperative.

Much Love.

Detaching from the Outcomes

I have pondered for the last few days….what is it with us human beings, that we monger fear in ourselves? Why are we so insecure that we need validation for everything and anything we do or represent?

Fear. The old enemy of the Self, which is a manifestation of self-doubt, expectation of outcomes and just plain anticipatory behavior. Fostering this fear in the Self, just gives it more power. The more you feed it, the more it insists on staying in your energy field. And boy oh boy, it becomes bigger and bigger, until you can think of nothing else but just that fear. Say hello to the unconscious state of being....

Fear is actually quite a sophisticated defense mechanism. Classed as a level 4 defense mechanism, which means that it is practiced by emotionally healthy adults, it is termed as anticipation – or planning for our future discomfort. Yip, we continue to feed our anticipation of outcomes, which breeds insecurity which breeds fear. We forget the subtle interplay of other factors, which we cannot account for.

Take heed of the words of Kant, the eminent philosopher, “we must also consider the conditions under which what ought to happen frequently does not”. In modern psychology, we so often to not recognize that other factors determine our behaviour, and those of the individuals that shares our personal environment. We cannot account for that which drives their decisions and behaviour patterns. Things go wrong. Period.

If it is a business transaction, a personal transaction, or emotional transaction, it matters not, we cannot control the outcomes. What we need to remember though, is that at it’s core, every transaction made always has good intentions, and that transactions manifest. How they manifest, cannot be controlled by the individual. It is a game with many players, and as such, the transaction is only a probability.

Detaching from the outcomes, is a very empowering act. It removes us from expectations, which removes us from insecurity, and therefore removes us from fear.

Fear is simply False Evidence Appearing Real. And we create it ourselves. If you have created a transaction, for that is an intent, or need, with integrity as to the expected outcome, then simply detach. For your Higher Self will always know what is going to be appropriate for you, what is going to foster your purpose, and what it is required in your life path to cause growth, which is the ultimate purpose for your current physical expression.

Just TRUST.

Harmony

Harmony seems to be such a simple thing to create. But it is actually a rare commodity in our world. Unaware of unity, we struggle with each other and compete for wealth, power and position.

Even our religions suffer from this phenomenon. The one is always better than the other, the teaching always more truthful than the other, and in the ensuing battle for dogmatic supremacy, we create disharmony. Cultural warfare is almost always linked to religious warfare – as religion plays a central role in our cultural expression.

In our personal environment, harmony seems out reach for most of us. Disharmony is created through our continual reactionary dysfunction. Do we ever think why we act in a certain way, or why we re-enact certain patterns of behavior? These incidents are almost always of a negative nature, we always try to be better than others in order to prove to ourselves that we are superior to others, to firmly root our little place in the world. This is the dysfunctional ego at work.

Harmony is a trademark of awakened consciousness. Living in harmony with others, requires that we are aware of feelings, that we are aware of emotional behavior patterns, and the personal environment. Much like a mother that comforts a distressed child, in order to heal a momentary pain or emotional experience, we need to comfort our ego’s into accepting that life is not all about conflict. To achieve this we need to be fully in the Now. Simply put, the Now means that we are conscious of our behavior towards others, the self, and our surroundings.

The difficulty is that we are not always awake, or fully conscious. Even the most enlightened soul has moments of relapse, as we cannot always be attuned to the highest harmonic of our being. When we are attuned, we experience spiritual freedom. And spiritual freedom creates harmony.

Love thy neighbor as thy love thyself. Quite an expression. But what does it mean? Firstly, we need to realize that our neighbors are ourselves. Once we realize that we need to do unto others as we would like them to do unto us, then we have reached a milestone in our lives. Emotional Intelligence has just seen the light of day in our minds. For we are indeed doing unto ourselves.

Spiritual Intelligence requires that we are cognizant of our actions, feelings, judgmental attitudes and general emotional behavior patterns. This is true in the essence of things, but also on the most mundane of levels. Practice discretion, pause before you speak or act. Am I acting in my highest spiritual integrity? Am I acting in the interests of all those that fills my life with the blessings of Love, sense of Purpose and creates my emotional abundance?

We are busy creating a world. That we must accept. And we have the choice to create either harmony or disharmony in this world. Is truly up to us. Every action, no matter how small, reverberates through the ethers and builds and strengthens according to the energy we afford it. It either moves to harmony and love, or contributes to destruction and dis-unity.

We can take our pick.

Just enough. Is it enough?

This morning I woke up in a very perplexed state of mind. I had a dream which I just could not fathom. Being an avid dream worker, this left me a bit insecure as to my abilities to intuitively “get it”. The dream dealt with the keys to “enough”.

Upon downloading my e-mail – this came up, from Enoch Tan. Many of you will know that I have a high regard for his teachings, and wisdom. But read this, and let us dissect it, without judgement, but purely from the viewpoint of our new Spiritual Directive.

Enoch says:

“You can really get the law of attraction to work magic in your life by expanding your awareness of wealth or your definition of just enough. Just enough could be a larger home, with more of the beautiful things that you yearn for. That new ideal of just enough could be more than where you are now but it is bigger and better. It’s all how you are willing to look at it. There are many powerful manifesting techniques that can alter your inner state which will then influence the law to work magic in your life”.

This is off course very true. The Law of Attraction will give us what we desire, whenever we put the Intention out in the Ethers.

First impulses are always dictated by the ego. During a channeling event this weekend, the Goddess Pallas Athena made us aware of how our minds interact with all the subtle bodies. We will not discuss the subtle bodies, as that can take years, but suffice to say that the first thought that manifests, when we are confronted with the possibility of abundance through our own God Power, is money. An expensive automobile. Beautiful home, and lots of cash in the bank. This is our perception of abundance.

So, our physical and environmental needs are the one’s that must be satisfied first. That is the human impulse, bred through societal enculturization. If we look at Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, we see that this is the second “rung” of the ladder to be negotiated, after the psychological needs are satisfied (that which enables us to continue life). Security, stability and structure, amongst others, are the second step in this hierarchy of needs. We need to feel financially secure, have a home, and have boundaries in place. So sad it is then, that all these needs are those dictated by a dysfunctional society.

Enough. What does that say? Enough is not the same concept for any of us. It varies according to our emotional and ego-induced needs. The ego will always respond by protecting itself, viz a viz it’s needs. It’s own insecurity demands this action.

Why have we forgotten about the simple beauty of abundance? Abundance is having enough to meet our needs. Abundance is having our spirituality fully activated. Abundance is knowing that we are loved, that the birds sing, and that we are always supported by God and Spirit while experiencing on this planet. Abundance is knowing that we will always be looked after, as we are the spark of God manifested in physical form. We are abundance. God never intended for us not to have enough. And enough we have, if we would only trust and detach from our fears and egotistical needs.

We are being asked by many Divine Sources, to share, build communities and support one another, unconditionally. They keep on telling us that this will create abundance. Abundance is our Universal Heritage. And if our abundance manifest as financial and tangible wealth, this is also our right, as we have earned it through hard work.

Yet, it is always the intent which needs to be pure and have integrity. If our intent is concurrent with the new directive from Spirit, then we will have abundance. Our needs will be met. We will have enough.

The new emerging Global Consciousness that is prompting some secular organizations to ask “what in the world is going on?” demands that we share our abundance with others. That we foster the needs of others and ourselves, in building communities that have at it’s core Unconditional Love and sharing. That we heed not the impulses of the ego anymore, but the impulses of the Higher Mind. That we hear the birds, rejoice in communication with Spirit and God, and relish this dualistic experience.

It is either shape up, or ship out. The old world order is rapidly disintegrating around us. It is now time to recognise God’s intention for us. This is new new imperative.

We have enough – if we will only but allow it. Just trust.

Much Love.

Manifestation

Yet again I feel compelled to write about this subject, at the risk of being compared to Ascended Master Kuthumi, by virtue of my insistence to continually harper on issues of importance, until they sink into our consciousness.

Off course, if it was not for this insistence by Master Kuthumi, very many of us would still be hanging out in the old reality. This old reality is gone now, and with the looming solstice much more of our Light will be anchored, alienating the old ways even more, and making the old energy really uncomfortable.

Relish it, as with all things, we need to go down before we can rise again like the proverbial Phoenix from the ashes. Sometimes we need to face the darkness time and again, to release so much of what does not serve our purpose anymore.

Manifestation, in the current energy of the Collective Universal Consciousness, is now almost immediate, and we can be caught off-guard, if not carefull. This was so aptly displayed in my own personal space yesterday. I felt compelled to make contact with an old friend, but at the last moment, my ego-self decided that it was not appropriate. I pressed the delete button.

As manifestation has very many dimensions in how it concludes in the act itself, we can sometimes be taken aback by the synchronicity of it’s modus operandi.

As I was attending a function last night, a friend of my friend walked up to me, and asked if I was not so and so? I said yes, I am, knowing that I have never met this person before, but as he introduced himself, I knew that my friend very often spoke about him, as he was one of her dearest friends.

Manifestation in motion. The tentacles of Light create an “event string” which compels us to honor our intentions, appropriate or not. These thought patterns become probabilities, which will magically bring together people and create situations for manifestation.

So, concentrating on our Intentions, Outcomes, Causes and Effects, are more important than ever before. There are no more co-incidences. Just pure, beautiful Collective Universal Consciousness in action.

Let us be in the Now. Stop the chattering of our ego-self as it tries to express it’s own validity. Teach it to become and ally. Pacify it. It does not understand this spiritual journey, cannot identify with it, or rationalize it. It is a part of our Authentic Selves, having traversed our many lifetimes as a partner in our growth into Human Angels. So we have to honor the ego for it’s contributions.

We must now concentrate our intentions and actions on that which is for the good of ourselves and all those that we may or may not affect by them. Because surely, they are going to manifest. In most cases instantly, these little tentacles of light weave their magic in connecting our thoughts and actions with one-another, creating great potentialities of manifestation proving beyond doubt that our inter-connectiveness, as One, is starting to assert itself, as a consequence of the Christed Light now being fully anchored on the planet.

Our minds are suddenly more powerful. Our telepathic abilites now asserts itself, in most cases unconsciously, to connect to the Universal Consciousness, and those that we think about, instantly. So we need to be mindful of what we think, desire and express. Be in the Now. Feel this telepathic exchange.

After all, we have created it. We have changed the potentiality of a doomed earth into a new-born earth. Now let us honour our new existence, as true Earth Angels.

Valor

While valor is generally used in the context of war or the battlefield, it is,
as an element of love, linked with the act of speaking truth to power, especially
when an injustice is committed.

It is common in today’s social order to ignore the injustices of our world.

Self-absorption in one’s own world is a key threat that undermines the expression of
valor, and fear of consequence is the other. Individuals who fear consequence in pointing
out an injustice misunderstand the co-creative force of God. When we operate as co-
creators, we are ever vigilant to the incremental or sudden onset of injustice, and when it
occurs in our life path, it must be identified for what it is and dealt with.

Valor is the aspect of our love that defends its presence in the face of injustice as measured in the social order. If we don’t defend our virtues–or those too weak to defend their own - we
have separated from them and have lost an opportunity to be a co-creative force in the
world of form. This doesn’t necessarily mean that we must become activists or advocate
for a list of social causes. It simply requires that we defend ourselves and others from
injustice.

How we do it, is up to us.

Detachment from the Outcomes

A very good friend and mentor told me the other day. “Wow, I have learned how to detach from the outcome!” To her, this was one of the most liberating moments in her life. As she is spiritually well attuned, and wise, I thought it strange that she would only achieve this now. Not that I have achieved it, by any means. So, my thoughts was judgemental.

Everything that we want in this life, is a valid desire. Be it a relationship, to engage in a certain activity or just plain money. These are desires that sustain our emotional and physical needs. So, they are valid, in that it will provide us with sustenance, or a way to survive this unkind harsh world we inhabit.

However, we will only succeed in manifesting these desires if we truly trust. And the only way we can do it is by detachment. Detaching means that you already trust that the outcomes will be synchronous with the intention, need or desire. However, herein lies the big risk of the Law of Attraction.

We learn in the ground breaking book, The Sectret, that anything we desire can truly be ours. We all saw the video presentation, in which phycicists and psychics confirmed this. Suddenly we now had access to the secrets of abundance and manifestation. But the book itself neglected to mention that our intention has to be for the good of Self, and all those around us.

The Law of Attraction works. Period. What you put out there in thought form will manifest. But what does the thought form represent? What is it that we want? Will it be beneficial for all those in the personal environment, and those not? Are we going to create hardship for Self and others as a result of this need? Will it affect Mr A ors Mrs C in such a way that it will create hardship for them? And ourselves? Are we going to be able to maintain this need, with integrity? Will we create a karmic condition for ourselves?

Ego-interference is always present when we express a need or desire. Not that the ego-self is all bad. It is not. It can sometimes guide us into a space of beauty, guide the outcomes to be beneficial for all. Quite frankly, we need the ego. We cannot do without it. It is our survival tool. However, the ego needs to be passified, to be more in-tune with our emerging spirituality. It needs to aid us, instead of leading us to the edge of self sabotage. And this we can do, by re-creating the ego space to be more aligned to the Spiritual Self.

When we put a desire into the ethers, either though our own thoughts, or by asking the Higher Self to intervene, we need to be specific. Spell it out. The Law of Attraction cannot be held responsible for our free will or desires. So we need to be specific in what and why we want something. Almost like self-interrogation, we need to practice Introspection in the Now. We are then able to “edit out” the bad parts, and clarify the intention. Once we have done this successfully in our minds, we are then ready to let it go into the ethers for manifestation.

Then there is only one more thing to do. Detach from the Outcome – through Trust. And ensure that what you desire will have integrity viz a viz needs, desires and pure intention, and will not impact negatively on those around you.

Manifestation

Yesterday I had a chat to a friend about the way things almost magically manifest these days – almost immediately after you think about it. At least, within seven days from the thought, or intent, being projected into the ethers. Once the thought has been projected, it becomes a probability that has the potential to intersect with a similar thought – almost like a field of potentiality.

These thoughts then go happily (or not so happily) out into the ethers, and attract that which the intent was addressed to – being it another person, a situation or a wish. Once these probabilities intersect, creation occurs. This is where our shaped thoughts can take on tangible substance either through our actions or the final results of mystical manifestation.

There are two kinds of manifestation. The first is the mundane and the second is the mystical. The mundane kind of manifestation is what can be thought of as the normal way of things happening. The mystical kind of manifestation is known as beyond the ordinary, the amazing, the divine, the magical, or the miraculous ways.

These little miracles happen daily to us. Yet, most of the time, we fail to recognize them, and thus we deny ourselves of the power within. The law of Attraction states clearly that what we desire will manifest. Good or bad. And that is where the old problem of “what thou soweth thou shall reapeth” rears it’s ungly head.

The True Secret is to take manifestation very seriously. When we express a need, or a wish, we must pay attention to Intent and Outcome vs Cause and Effect. The truly spiritually mature and compassionate person will first off all evaluate the wish or need, viz a viz the outcomes, or possible outcomes that it will create. Mindfull-ness is therefore of utmost importance.

What will the outcomes be? What will it create for me in the future? How will it influence others, and their free will? How will it interact with the environment? Will there be karmic causes generated? These are simple questions that need to be asked before we send our wishlist out into the ethers for manifestation.

In the new Energies of Christ Consciousness, our powers of thought manifestation is now one thousand fold increased. Manifestation happens almost immediately. The Law of Attraction has just been turbo-charged. We are being told by the Ascended Masters, and other higher sources, that within seven days our thoughts and desires manifest.

So, let us be mindfull of that which we think about, and that which we un-consciously think about, when the mind chatters away in it’s quest for ego-induced selfishness, greed, negativity, fear and assumption. The little soap operas created in the mind, which is usually blamefull reactionary dramas expressing hurt, anger and revenge is no longer appropriate as part of our consciousness. If we do allow this, we may just find ourselves in a very sticky situation. That which we wish for, and that which we think, will intersect with other similar thoughts and create potentiality, and ultimately, manifestation.

And these days, almost instantly. So be mindfull. You now have the creative powers of God. And God is only Love. Let us strive to be that too.....

Meta-science in motion

According to Rupert Sheldrake, author of the groundbreaking work “A New Science of Life”, conditioned aversion is a rapid and long-lasting form of learning. Animals avoid eating something that has made them ill. If we eat a new kind of food, which has made us ill, we will probably avoid that food forever. Sheldrake then goes and compares this conditioned aversion to evolving morphic resonance (a field of consciousness that determines form and function off all manifest matter).

Morphogenetic fields are responsible through morphic resonance to determine form and function, or physical and psychical characteristics of all expressions of formative causation. These fields of creation can also be called God’s magic wand. These fields have no energy, only consciousness. That consciousness adapts to our evolutionary patterns, both physical and spiritual.

Therefore, a new morphic expression of Energetic Aversion has just seen the Light of Day. In response to the 9th September event, our complete Spiritual Psyche has gone through a remarkable and profound evolutionary change. We have finally shrugged of the shackles of morphogenetic memory, which links us to past experiences, both incarnate and discarnate. We will never be the same again. We have been re-booted.

Energetic aversion will be the consequence, for those willing to embrace this new state of being. No longer will we be able to tolerate that which does not resonate with our personal psychical, or spiritual, expression. We have been released from the hum-drum of lower vibrating societal enculturization, behavior patterns and being-ness.

As Master Kuthumi said, during the Easter channeling two years ago:

“It is time to face your own re-surrection”.

As always, his words were prophetic. This has now manifested. Although we may not see it or feel it, we are now firmly anchored in the 4th dimension and beyond. One morning we will suddenly wake up, and nothing will be the same anymore. Like new-born children, we will view everything around us with wonder, appreciation, gratitude and love.

The intense “letting go” is over. We must now simply accept that we have a choice in our own evolution. It matters not if you choose to remain in this experience. We have free will. But choose we must. Fence sitting is over.

Those left behind will not be lost, as their experience is simply their own choice. And the road always leads to the Light. God’s compassion, and those guides that are assigned to them, will keep them safe.

Welcome Home.

Denial of Self

In the psyche of Spiritual Emergence, we sometimes think it wise to question our own validity, integrity and human-ness, by self imposing restrictions regarding our behaviour, personal interactions with those around us, and God, or, for those who wish, our Higher Selves.

We meditate, attempt close communion with our Higher Selves and listen carefully to the messages that seems to offer us guidance and plan our road to en-lightenment.

We need to exercise extreme caution, in this initial phase of discovery. Very often, what we think is the Higher Self, is simply the sub-conscious telling us how to behave, through it’s own enculturization. And needless to say, the ego also contributes with it’s own little plan of action.

I am mentioning this, as a client asked me the other day about fasting, giving up some of life’s little pleasures, and abstaining from sexual contact with her husband for 40 days. Fasting, abstaining from sexual interaction, denying the Self of life’s simple little pleasures, is not God’s plan for our journey. God does not impose restrictions on his human children.

We have free will. This initial impulse is simply the Ego. The ego is quite happy with who and what it is, and cannot understand or rationalize this new emerging spirituality. So, it revolts. In this effort, it tries to alienate us from this new experience, in order to preserve it’s own world. So it imposes guilt and fear. Nasty, clever little trick. Fear, for if we do not comply, we are doomed. Guilt, for our sins, which must be cleansed.

Fasting is difficult. It requires from us discipline and denial of everything we have come to accept as part of our lives. Denying ourselves from the earth experience is denying us our own free will and sovereignity.

The need to fast must come from deep inside the Self. It must be a realization or need that arises out of a Love for Self, not penance for sins committed. There is no debt to be paid. Almost every mystic that I know of, has gone into isolation to fast, out of the public eye, expressing the need for communion with God and Universal Consciousness.

Fasting also have many expressions. Simply going deep within, is a way of fasting. Meditation, is a way of fasting. In our minds, fasting, as taught by the doctrines of the secular environment, is payment for sins, or cleansing of the sins from the body and mind. This implies judgement.

God does not judge. Spirit does not judge. Our Higher Selves does not judge. They are in support of our spiritual emergence.

Let fasting, in it’s various expressions, emerge as a true need from within, and not the need to either please doctrines, the ego impulses, or those who pronounce it as a necessary cleansing in order to attain spiritual enlighten-ment. This narrow road doctrine is neither uplifting nor beneficial.

Altering our behaviour patterns must come from true realization, true need, from within. Let it unfold in time. There is no rush. We are all on the road back into the Light.

Humility

The soul expresses the love frequency derived from God. It is it’s most important purpose, while embodied within the human, to circulate this delicate, sublime frequency of love to the human instrument (body, mind). It will come as no surprise that it finds the heart a more willing collaborator than the mind. Humility is the realization that the heart, mind and soul co-mingle in the grace of God. That their very existence is upheld through the dispensation of love from God just as surely as a tree is sustained by sunlight.

In the religious, psychological and philosophical teachings of our planet there is great consideration given to the mind. “As a man thinketh so is he.” At a more base level, many people believe that what they think causes their feelings, which in turn creates their vibratory rate and
this vibratory rate attracts their life experience. So, applying this logic, the way to attract good
things into our life is to think rightly (positively), lest we attract evil or hardship (negativity).

Humility understands that the being that represents you - your fullest identity - is not
constituted as a chain reaction of the mind. Rather, it is the presence of love embodied in human
form, and this love expresses itself in the virtues of the heart, the pure intellect of the
contemplative mind, and the co-creative pursuits of the heart, mind, and soul.

Humility is the expression of this love frequency knowing it derives from what
already exists in a higher dimension, and in this dimension love is not a thing of
sentiment and emotional heaviness. It is a liberating force that acts according to
the archetype of God: All is one. All is equal. All is divine. All is immortal.

Emotional Intelligence

Our ability to view situations objectively and therefore to understand ourselves and other people depends on balancing and integrating the head and heart. Emotional intelligence is the ability to sense, understand and effectively apply the power of emotions, appropriately channelled as a source of energy, creativity and influence.

Emotions serve as the source of human energy, authenticity and drive, and can offer us a wellspring of intuitive wisdom. Each feeling provides us with valuable feedback throughout the day. This feedback, if from the heart centre, is what ignites creativity, keeps us honest with ourselves, guides trusting relationships, and provides the compass for our life and career.

Emotional intelligence requires that we learn to acknowledge and understand feelings - in ourselves and others - and that we appropriately respond to them, creatively applying the energy of the emotions to our daily life, work and relationships.

Emotional intelligence is demonstrated by tolerance, empathy and compassion for others; the ability to verbalize feelings accurately and with integrity; and the resilience to bounce back from emotional upsets. It is the ability to be a deeply feeling, authentic human being, no matter what life brings, no matter what challenges and opportunities we face.

Emotional intelligence (EQ) may be even more important than IQ in one's ability to achieve success and happiness. I may score well on tests and excel academically, but how well do I handle disappointment, anger, jealousy and fear, the problems of communication, and all the ups and downs of relationships?

Persons with high EQ - who have developed emotional literacy - will have more confidence and trust in themselves, and more understanding of others and therefore empathy with them. So they will make better relationships and experience more achievement, love and joy in their life.

They will be emotionally mature, a state that many adults do not achieve. If these skills were taught widely, in the home as well as at school, and amongst adults, it would provide the basis of a much saner and happier world to live in.

Emotional Intelligence is one of the imperatives for Metaphysical and Psychological healers and teachers. If we do not know how to apply it, we will lack empathy and understanding, creating distrust in the relationship between teacher/healer and client. We are after all the way-showers, and thus must display these qualities as we negotiate between the sub-conscious Self, ego-Self, and Higher Selves of others.

As facilitators, ordained and entrusted with the gift of surrogate-ship, we must be prepared to suffer the discovery of Self first, before we can facilitate discovery in others. If we do not do this, we dis-enfranchise others.

Freedom is wisdom. Wisdom can only be acquired through knowledge. Knowledge can only be acquired through conscious effort.

Dream it, live it, and apply it. It is our sacred duty.

The Significance of Dreams

A client, not so long ago, had a dream about preparing dinner on her gas stove. The flame was burning low and erratic, indicating that the gas was about to run out, and leaving her without the means to feed her family. This dream perplexed her, and she asked if I could help make sense of it, as she had suffucient gas on hand, and was experiencing financial abundance. What she did experience was discomfort in the personal expression, as she was feeling caged and unable to psychically connect to the Higher Energies.

Contemplating this, it was really quite simple. Her Soul Connection was waning. The connection to Spirit was being interrupted by environmental factors. The dream was a subtle warning from the Higher Self.

Upon questioning her, it became apparent that she was having bouts of bad moods, and irritation with those in her environment, as she was denied her quiet time of contemplation and meditation. This denial was starting to express through the ego-self, which started to display defense mechanisms, in order to protect her from the disrupting environmental influences.

These defence mechanisms was now starting to influence others in her environment, which caused feelings of rejection, which created need, which created friction. As a result, the tempers flared and often mayhem would ensue. She simply wanted to be left alone, quietly doing what she had to do in order to foster the Self.

This is one of the pitfalls of Spiritual Emergence, and self dicovery. The need for closeness to our Higher Selves must be balanced with the realization that we are still in this 3rd dimentional world, and have to function as human beings.

However, those in our environment must also be made aware of this need, and respect for one-another’s personal expressions must be maintained. If we do not do this, the ensuing disfunctionality in our emotional expression, and environment, will keep on exerting itself, until it is given due attention. The Higher Self does not mince it’s words. It gets to the point, in your face. We simply need to start extracting these messages, and follow the prompts.

Respect one-another, as it is an expression of Love, Balance and Understanding.

Appreciation

At the subtle levels, this virtue of the heart is focused on a specific awareness
that God surrounds our fellow beings as a field of consciousness and that
this consciousness unifies us. If we are unified, it follows that we operate as a
collective consciousness at some deeper level, and in this place, we share a
common purpose that is supremely vital, and yet mysterious, dynamic and uncertain.

This awareness, or even belief, shifts our focus from the small details of our
personal life to the vision of our purpose as a species. At a more practical level,
appreciation expresses itself in the small gestures of gratitude that support relationship
loyalty and bonding. The deeper levels of appreciation make the relatively surface level
expressions genuine because they stem from the frequencies of soul instead of the
motives of the ego or mind.

Yet, humanity still does not foster this heart virtue. Appreciation is gratitude. And gratitude, genuinely expressed, is Love in Motion. Let us appreciate, and show gratitude, for the One-ness of All.

Back in the Light

Many of our earthly myths speak of a great being who sacrifices him / her Self for the good of the many. After death, the martyr then goes into the darkness to do battle with all his / her demons. Upon the third day, the martyr returns to the Light as a Master of Energy. Let us take a moment to explore some important properties of the energy of the number 3.

When the ONE of the 5th dimension and beyond was polarized into the 3rd / 4th dimentional realities, it became:

1 – masculine / light, and
2 – feminine / matter
which became 3, the number which represents the creation that is the result of the merging polarities of 1 and 2.

The number three is thus the culmination of 1 and 2, united as Light/Spirit (1) into Dark/Matter (2) to create the unison – Humanity. Because 3 took a form in the lower worlds, the following developed:

4 – basis for form
5 – grounded, heart open, head in the stars
6 – creative expression, and
7 – transmutation back to the Light

We have now come to the time of number 7, in which our form is about to transmute back into the ONE from which it was first manifested.

Just as the martyr of our creation stories becomes Master of Energy, we have gained our mastery as Spiritual warriors. We have successfully negotiated the Ascension Path. In displaying Unconditional Love, and holding our Swords of Intention high, under the protection of the Violet Flame, we have arrived at this moment of re-integration of our Universal One-ness.

With the Christ-Consciousness now fully activated in us, it now depends on how we as Lightworkers manifest this new reality. One-ness is required, as we now further negotiate the path of Ascension, and encourage Spiritual Awakening in our fellow humans. And this we can only do through carefull nurturing, healing and teaching of the Truth.

So, let us go deep within, and decide. We have no choice anymore. With the culmination of the 9/9/9 energies, we need to finally decide our purpose, and embrace it.

The time is now.

THE REACTIVE RESPONSE

The opposite of being response-able is to be 'reactive' - in this case one's response is not conscious and self-aware, it is mechanical, like the trigger of a gun. Rather than being objective in the present, one is subjectively in the past. A situation reminds you of the past and there you go. The thoughts that go through your mind - thoughts from the past - trigger an unpleasant or self-defeating emotional reaction, and result in behavior that is not in your best interest. In other words it is your beliefs and your perspective on things that determine your emotions, which then drive your resulting behavior.
These thoughts derive from times when they seemed like the best solution to trying circumstances, and they may be an agreement with a dominant, authoritative or persuasive force, or derive from the conclusion to an episode in your life of success or failure. If the original circumstances were unpleasant and become painful to think about, the accompanying thoughts, decisions and purposes become suppressed too, but continue to operate subconsciously.
When brought to light, it is apparent that the thoughts are affecting current life unnecessarily, as they are usually an over-generalization, an exaggeration, a negativity or an intolerance that is irrational. To become responsible again rather than reactive, one needs to become aware of these thoughts and examine them objectively. And to be conscious of the present moment, and so act (rather than react) as circumstances change.

Dreamworking

Dreams, Healing & Wholeness
In his work with both patients and clients, Dr. Carl Jung witnessed the natural healing mechanism of the dream. The dream acted in such a way as to amend a lop sided or partial perspective on life, or create awareness of an emotional problem. A series of dreams would develop, balance and refine the conscious awareness of the dreamer. Jung had rediscovered the age old wisdom of the dream and its capacity to heal and make whole.

In his patients the dream imagery and themes would present themselves in such a way that that the healing of the psyche would proceed. As the therapist all Jung need do was to help and encourage his patients to understand their own dreams. For Jung it was the dreams, not the doctor, who was the healer. Dreamscapes always express current situations via symbols, aspects of self and archetypes. All depicted persona in dreams are aspects of self. The slef can thus be explored through this recognision, and the dreamscape will highlight the emotional dis-ease.

Having solved their original problems and balanced out their sanity many of Jung’s patients continued on with their psychotherapeutic work with him. For they did not stop dreaming. Instead the dreams seemed to focus on a whole new set of untouched problems and issues. No sooner had one difficulty been resolved when another, of even greater complexity and depth, would present itself. And again the dream would provide the healing and answers.

In this pattern of raising one issue after another Jung recognised more than a healing mechanism at work within the dream. Apart from healing, the dreams also seemed to be encouraging and actively participating in the growth and development of the personality. Jung termed this inherent drive of the psyche as the force of individuation, the force by which we become whole and indivisible.

Both in himself and in his clients Jung pursued the way of the dream and became a student to its teachings. It was in this way that Jung helped to usher in the new religious paradigm, which has come to be known as the idea of Self-development.

Results Magic

"Results Magic" deals with largely non-reproducible effects, or particularly timely synchronistic events that can be explained by "pure luck". There is no way to "prove" the existence of this magic. The only way to "prove" it is to prove it to yourself. The only way to experiment is by using your own mind and reality as the laboratory. If you find yourself consistently beating the odds and moving probability in your favor, you’re indeed doing magic. The way to master magic is to use it in ways that you can quantify.

While magick cannot work against physical laws, it can manipulate probability. It can create wonderful coincidences. It can help to attract positive synchronicity into your life. Magick can create undeniable change in the world, even if it manifests as the tiniest event or impulse. The root word is: manifest. All things exist in the probable level of the universe. What you actually experience in this realm is that which manifest. The aim is to push probabilities one way or the other to the extent you desire it to move.

Welcome note to all

In the new emerging global consciousness, the role of the Spiritual Mentor, Healer and
Teacher, is often construed by many scientists as either of no value, or steeped in the
mindset of emerging cult consciousness. And they are quite correct in assuming this. The
spiritual community, and the teachers, healers and mentors that it harbors, is mostly
devoid of integrity, one-ness and coherence. In most cases, we notice that certain
individuals only follow certain teachings by certain masters, certain healers follow only
the methods as taught by certain modalities, and the “I am always Better than thou” rule
seems to be the supreme purpose of our spiritual communities and competitive
environment. With this blog we will attempt none of that.

I will simply answer your questions truthfully, counsel you wisely (if I can!) and try to add value to your own experience of Spiritual Emergence. Here you will not find adherence to any secular organization, teaching or healing modality and psychic confusion. Simply the truth, backed up by valid science, is needed.

Want to know about energing spirituality? Ask.
Feeling emotionally un-well? Ask
Want to know about consciousness? Ask.
Want to know about morphogenetics? Ask.
Want to know about neuro-science? Ask.

As long as the basis of the question is metaphysical, I will endeavor to answer as best I can. I am committed to help in any way. I am a Jungian, and holistic life counselor, so any emotional problems will be holistically looked at, and even private on-line consultations can be arranged, as long as you can skype and we can have a session that is not interrupted. my focus is healing the emotional trauma of others, through understanding and empathy.
